MLB fans made the best of heavy rains during the Mets-Red Sox game on Friday night, with Fenway Park turning into a water park.

The skies opened up during the fourth inning, filling the stadium with water and delaying the game for two hours, before it was eventually suspended.

The game is set to resume on Saturday afternoon, with the Mets up 4-3 in the fourth inning.

The Mets entered the weekend on the back of a series win over the White Sox, while the Red Sox returned home after a disappointing series loss to the Athletics.

Fans take in the weather

Rather than letting the situation get them down, fans in attendance joined together to entertain themselves underneath the stands.

One fan took off his shirt and did a body slide in the water while others cheered him on and took pictures.

Others couldn't take their eyes off a waterfall that formed in the stadium as the rain continued to come down.

The players got in on the fun as well. Red Sox third basemen Justin Turner shared a video of himself on social media that showed him wading around with plastic bags in order to remain dry.
