Sean 'Diddy' Combs jets off on private plane as federal investigation into rap mogul continues

Rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been spotted taking a trip on his private jet to a mystery destination as the federal investigation into allegations against him continue.

The 54-year-old was spotted in a video clip walking towards a black-colored private jet in the early hours of Saturday morning, around 01:00 ET.

In the footage, he can be heard greeting the pilot as he stepped onboard the plane, with a personalized rug reading 'Combs Air'. That would suggest the jet is owned by Combs, which isn't surprising given his extraordinary net worth.

"How you doing?" Combs said to the pilot, who gave the 'Bad Boy' rapper a fist bump and responded with the same question.

As the disgraced music mogul walked up the steps onto the jet, Combs said: "There's no place like home". That may suggest he was heading back to his primary residence, a $39million mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles.

However, it was not immediately clear where he was flying from and it is possible he could have planned to leave the country due to the ongoing scrutiny from the investigation into his affairs.

The 'Last Night' rapper's late flight comes after it was reported by NBC News earlier this week that Combs is the subject of an ongoing criminal investigation and that charges are imminent.

However, he is able to travel as he pleases because he has not yet been formally charged for an offence. But it seems the authorities are making plans to step up the case some three months after his houses were raided in both Los Angeles and Miami by law enforcement officials.

New claims made against 'Diddy'

Sean 'Diddy' Combs has already faced public backlash over video footage of him beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, which surfaced in April.

Now, he is also being sued over new sex trafficking claims made by Adria English.

She alleged that in 2004 she and her then-boyfriend were asked to perform oral sex on the rapper in order for her beau to book a modeling gig with his fashion brand, Sean John.

English claimed she then began working for Combs at his parties, at which point he allegedly "forced sexual intercourse" with jeweler Jacob Arabov.
