Joe Biden 'mixes up' his gender and ends up describing himself as 'a black woman'

Another mental lapse by the president became relevant and adds one more argument to those who want him out of the Democratic candidacy.

Amid serious calls to modify the Democratic Party's candidacy for the presidency of the United States, the standard-bearer and still President Joe Biden continues to give reasons to strengthen the idea that he is not the right one and that he should decline in favor of Michelle Obama.

Biden, 81 years old, has appeared in different forums within the framework of the campaign for re-election to the White House, and in many he has made it clear that something is happening inside his head and that his state of health may not be optimal facing a second term.

The POTUS's most recent slip occurred this Thursday during a radio interview on Philadelphia's WURD with Andrea Lawful-Sanders, where he surprised everyone by beginning to highlight his vice presidency under Barack Obama; and then the role of women in hers, in which that same position is now occupied by Kamala Harris.

This was President Biden's new mental lapse

The awkward moment and new verbal stumble came when he began to make a self-reference (the "first president elected at the state level in the state of Delaware, when I was a kid," he said) and when he referred to the appointment of Ketanji Brown. Jackson, the first black woman on the Supreme Court:

"By the way, I'm proud to be, like I said, the first vice president, the first black woman... to serve with a black president. Proud to be part of the first black woman on the Supreme Court. There are so many things we can do because, look... we are the United States of America," said an obviously confused Biden and surprised at not being able to sufficiently clarify his slip.

What Biden wanted to highlight was of course Kamala Harris as the first black vice president of the United States and Brown-Jackson in her honorable position, but as has become his custom in recent months, the president ended up 'going ballistic' as they say colloquially.
