IShowSpeed is a very prominent streamer. In all his appearances on Kick and Twitch, he puts on a show, creating viral clips that have made him well-known in the international community.
One of the most recurring themes in his live shows is his following of Cristiano Ronaldo. He is a big fan of the Portuguese star, and behaves as such, showing his affection for him and following him everywhere.
This time he went to Germany to see him at the 2024 European Championship, but it didn't end up as he had hoped.
Speed misses the opportunity to see Cristiano Ronaldo
Speed always goes with a group of people. Bodyguards, cameramen and friends always accompany him.
That makes moving around the stadiums complicated. And in this case they have had an unexpected situation. Normally they are always allowed to be in the VIP areas, and move freely, but this time it has not been like that.
Someone took the decision to kick them out of the stadium. Speed and his group were leaving the dressing room area through the car park, while the streamer couldn't understand what was going on: "But why are they kicking us out?"
Speed complained that a group of people had managed to stay in the area, while they were politely asked to leave the stadium by the security guards. When they reached the exit, a policeman told them to join the other people outside.
There, one of the content creator's bodyguards, along with people from his group, confronted the officer, telling him that they could not leave, that they had to wait for a car to arrive, and that his superior had lied to them, since they should have been able to see the Portugal players, including Ronaldo.
Finally, Speed saw the bus of the national team leaving, confirming his fears: he was left without seeing his idol on the first day of the European Championship, and he was very angry: "It can't be that I have lost the opportunity to see him because of these policemen".
He enjoyed Portugal's victory
This was after the match, but before that, as is now his custom, he enjoyed Portugal's victory in style. Speed saw the Portuguese team take all three points late in the game thanks to Francisco Conceicao's goal from a rebound.
Of course, the American streamer was overjoyed and could only celebrate with what has become one of his trademark gestures, a backwards somersault into the stadium stands.
That joy would later turn to anger at not seeing Ronaldo, but he certainly had a good time during the match.
