Canelo Alvarez sparks controversy over video of him being cold to his wife

Canelo Alvarez knows very well how to celebrate special occasions. He almost always shows his celebrations on social media. Not long ago he showed a christening where he was the godfather in which those attending the celebration were surprised because he threw notes through the air instead of coins, as he usually does.

His followers are always surprised by how the boxer celebrates the birthdays of his family and himself. However, on social media there was a cold message that has generated controversy among his followers for congratulating his wife Fernanda Gomez.

From what can be seen on social media, it seems that they are not having the best time with his wife. The boxer made a post on his Instagram account in which he congratulated his wife on her 29th birthday. What is seen and the message are those that generate doubts about the sentimental situation with his partner.

"Happy birthday my love @fernandagmtz, may you have many more and may life allow me to see you. I love you, thank you for everything," Canelo wrote along with a video where they are at the Trevi Fountain tossing a coin on their holiday in Rome.

In the post you can see how the couple seems to be upset when the video starts to be recorded and there is not much love between them. Fernanda is the one who tries to look for Alvarez's face so she can kiss him and not the other way around. When he went to respond, she avoids his gaze.

The comments were not long in coming and they began to question the situation of the couple. They spoke of the lack of interest on the part of the Mexican in making the video and also how serious he was with his wife at the time.
