Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is coming from a tough fight to get out and recover after a very difficult stage of rehabilitation due to his addiction problems to various substances. The 38-year-old boxer hit rock bottom when he was arrested for carrying a weapon.

Now Chavez Jr. is breathing and training hard for his next fight in the ring. During a recent preparation, he was shown shirtless and wearing sauna pants while doing some sort of push-ups that kept him sweating in spurts, he combined this exercise with a series of foot movements keeping in the same place without moving forward with his hands glued to the ground. Beads of sweat could be seen on the floor as he continued to focus on his movements.

His father, Mexican boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez was present at all times to help his son during his addiction problem. He even had to fight against all odds to find a way to support Chavez Jr. so he wouldn't lose himself in the substances he was addicted to.

Thanks to the support of his father and the rehabilitation he underwent, he will be able to return to the boxing world and be back inside a ring to face Uriah Hall before Jake Paul and Mike Perry face each other.
