Wayne Knight and David Alan Basche, along with other stars like New York Knicks’ Amaré Stoudemire, lend their time to Soles4Souls video project 50KShoes.com to raise funds for 50,000 pairs of shoes for children worldwide without them.

It is estimated more than 300 million children worldwide live in adverse poverty with limited or no access to footwear. Thanks to partners like ‘The Exes’ cast and crew and the 50KShoes.com project, the charity has distributed more than 16 million pairs of shoes.

During the video, Knight and others encourage others to recognize the impact $1 can have on the life of someone in need. Donating is easy at www.50KShoes.com. It requires no shipping and no trips to the post office. The suggested donation is very affordable, with $5.00 buying five pairs of new shoes.

“We’re hoping this simple little video shot from the set will show people, not only how easy it is to help raise awareness for a cause, but also how simple it is to give to Soles4Souls and help protect a child from a life-threatening disease,” said Donald Faison, star of ‘The Exes.’

Through the new world of blogging, emailing, twittering, and many other forms of social media, the TV Land show crew’s support will help spread the charity’s mission to “Change the World, One Pair at a Time.” They can also catch Wayne Knight, Kristen Johnston, David Alan Basche, Kelly Stables and Donald Faison on ‘The Exes’ on Wednesdays at 10:30 PM EST.
