Linode is proud to announce that we will be sponsoring the Rails Rumble for the fifth year in a row! This year 500 teams will be competing (up from 300 teams since the last Rumble!) over a 48 hour period to design, develop, and deploy a web application using Ruby on Rails and Linode. At the end of this period a panel of expert judges will pick the top 10 applications and award each team a prize bundle. This year’s competition will also include prizes for the best solo project and the public’s favorite.
The competition begins at 00:00:00 UTC on October 13th and concludes at 23:59:59 on October 14th. Winners will be announced on October 19th and will receive free Linodes for a year along with tons of other awesome prizes.
