Attention UNH students: Our Fall 2024 Career & Internship Fair is happening this Wednesday & Thursday! It's time to start prepping and setting yourself up for professional success. Before you arrive at the MUB this week, prepare for meeting with potential employers by: 📝 Updating your career documents Review your resume to make sure it's up-to-date, update your LinkedIn and Handshake profiles and print plenty of copies of your resume to share. 💻 Researching event attendees Log into Handshake to review career fair attendees and make a plan for which industries, companies or organizations you want to speak to. 🎤 Practicing your 30-second pitch This is key to make a great first impression. Remember to introduce yourself, your skills and why you are an excellent fit for their organization. Our team had a fantastic visit to Fidelity Investments in Merrimack, NH where we learned about their career opportunities, toured their impressive facilities, and connected with their wonderful team. A highlight of the visit was hearing from our own Michon Whitney, ’24, who is excelling in her client relations internship. Yesterday, CaPS brought together a group of employers and campus partners to highlight our new Campus-2-Career program! This was the pilot showcase in preparation for our larger university-wide rollout for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. A huge thank you to our employer partners, ALKU, Eversource Energy, SubCom, and Fidelity Investments, for attending the showcase and sharing your feedback! Your support and engagement are crucial in helping us prepare our students for the future. We also want to acknowledge Provost Jones, SVP Kate Ziemer, and Ken La Valley for their support and investment in C2C.

"By participating in the C2C program, you are better equipping yourself for success by learning and improving essential skills that many employers and careers require." - Kaylee '25 College should prepare you for your future career. Students should gain valuable skills in and outside the classroom to help them succeed post-graduation. At the University of New Hampshire, the Campus-2-Career (C2C) program helps students further those skills and prepare for the future. This unique cross-campus program within UNH Career and Professional Success (CaPS) works with UNH Students to help them gain skills they can transfer to future internships and jobs.
