As MLB's exclusive 5G Innovation partner, we implemented the following using our 5G Advanced Network Solutions: ⚾Go-Ahead Entry: Network slicing enabled fast ticketless entry via facial recognition over 5G. ⚾5G private network: Supported critical game day operations with coverage in the press box, dugout, and bullpen. ⚾5GBP: 5G high-speed batting cage cams showed details like the ball compressing when hit! From the Men’s to the Women’s championship, we once again showed the power of our network from network slicing powering POS, Ticket Scanning, and Photographers uploads, to the private network supporting broadcast from 3 holes and the range! AND, a last minute addition supporting the GoVision board and toptracer through our Macro Network with no slicing.

The age of AI is here and we're actively exploring all the ways it can be incorporated into our everyday lives. The telecommunications industry is no different. AI has the power to make network ecosystems drastically more efficient and we're on a mission to find the best solutions. That's where T Challenge competition comes into play! This year's participants are paving the way for the future of telecom with their AI product or solutions. We’ve mastered bringing #5G to sports, but a 500-acre golf championship presented a unique challenge. 🏌️♀️ Scott Jacka, Director of Technology Innovation, shared with tech influencer Sally Eaves how we tackled the #PGAChamp complex terrain. Our public 5G and high-band 5G private networks powered operations and enhanced fan experiences across the expansive course. ⛳ From seamless broadcasts and efficient ticketing to secure transactions and staff communications, our network ensured the PGA Championship ran smoothly, despite the weather. 🌟 #TFBxPGA

When PGA of America needed to work with a production studio in Texas to broadcast a live video feed from the #PGAChamps in Kentucky, we provided golf’s first-ever portable private 5G network in the U.S. Remote video production is one of the most demanding wireless use cases, because very high data capacity and very low network latency are absolutely essential. So this network uses high-band radio spectrum to achieve an astoundingly low transport latency of 2 – 5 ms. That’s what it takes to move the data in near-real time and broadcast a spectacular live show for golf fans. #TFBxPGA

For T-Mobile's Bring Your Kid to Work Day, we started the day with a fun activity. With a nod to the #Uncarrier spirit, these young entrepreneurs gave us their best Un-Company pitches using two unrelated words to create a new business or product. So much creativity!
