 The conference has ended, but our work never does! We had an incredible time at the National PACE® Association Annual Conference here in San Diego, celebrating 30 years of connecting PACE organizations across the country. 💓 We were proud to host exclusive tours for over 150 attendees, offering a behind-the-scenes experience of our comprehensive senior care services. Guests had the opportunity to engage with our Social Work manager and RNs, gaining valuable insights into our interdisciplinary approach to care. This was a fantastic opportunity to engage with industry leaders, explore cutting-edge senior care models, and bring fresh, innovative ideas back to our community. For the Mercado family, St. Paul’s is more than just a workplace – it’s a legacy! Jorge and his three daughters —Jocelyn, Sarah, and Katie—each bring their unique skills and passions to their roles at St. Paul’s PACE. Can you imagine what their dinner conversations are like? Jorge keeps our seniors moving as Transportation Supervisor, while Jocelyn coordinates their journeys as Transportation Coordinator. Sarah supports participants through daily challenges as a Social Work Specialist, while Katie provides behavioral health resources as a Patient Care Coordinator. “I saw how happy my dad and sisters were when they came home from work, and I would hear them talk about how much they loved PACE,” said Katie, the fourth Mercado to join St. Paul’s PACE. “It was just amazing to see the joy in their hearts at the end of their work day.
