September is the #bloodcancerawareness month. Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) is a type of blood cancer which develops slowly, and patients may have to wait an extended period of time for the disease to progress before they can commence treatment. This can increase the emotional burden of a diagnosis. The complex nature of CLL can create uncertainty around disease progression which can significantly impact a patient’s quality of life. Today, we reaffirm our commitment to the lung cancer community and stand united in raising awareness of a disease that affects millions of people globally.   Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide. Despite recent treatment advances, many patients living with lung cancer are diagnosed at a late stage and face poor outcomes. This year’s theme is ‘Stronger Together: United for Lung Cancer Awareness’ is a clear reminder of the power of connections and #collaboration in the fight against lung cancer, and the importance of striving towards a world where no one has to face this condition alone. At #JNJ, we are working to change the trajectory of lung cancer by accelerating #innovations in the fight against the condition. Collectively, by raising awareness of the risk factors associated with lung cancer, advocating for early and accurate detection, and support ongoing research, we can continue to improve outcomes for patients and their loved ones. #JNJOncology
