In 2023, Actipulse Neuroscience® , a Cambridge (MA)-headquartered company pioneering non-invasive brain stimulation technologies, established its French subsidiary. Based in Grenoble (Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) and incubated at the Institute for Brain and Spinal Cord (ICM), they launched an innovative R&D project aimed at transiently opening the Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB) to enhance drug delivery to the brain using their high-frequency, low-intensity magnetic pulse (HF-LIMP) technology. Their French operations are part of a global team of 48 professionals specializing in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders. Leveraging expertise developed in Mexico since 2017 and collaborations with leading brain research labs in France, Actipulse aims to revolutionize CNS therapy. Initially focused on improving chemotherapy delivery for glioblastoma patients with a combination of HF-LIMP and temozolomide (TMZ), Actipulse plans to broaden its R&D efforts to address a wider range of CNS conditions.   Actipulse is grateful to Business France for their exceptional support in establishing our subsidiary in France.
