This past week, I had the pleasure of attending the Aspen Ideas Festival where thought leaders from around the world come together to share innovative solutions and bold ideas. This was an incredible opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about the key issues surrounding #socialjustice and #equality and how we can collectively shape a better future for all. While there, I connected with countless leaders who inspire, including academic scholar Eddie Claude of Princeton University, hip-hop artist Common, and K.J. Hughes of Manifest. Barber. Shop. Bar in Washington, D.C. I also spoke on a panel about the future of American capitalism alongside Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA), the Hon. Kay Bailey Hutchison, and David Leonhardt of The New York Times. #AspenIdeasFestival

First coming to the Festival as a fellow in 2019, Esparza returned to the Institute campus this year as a mentor for the latest cohort of fellows. Learn more about the Fellowship experience in a new article from Aspen Public Radio.
