It was a privilege to bring together a curated group of founders and American Express executives for a dinner focused on “The Future of Commerce”. For the third installment of our dinner series, guests included innovative founders building across the commerce journey along with leaders from American Express Merchant Services, Digital Advertising, Marketing, Network Partnerships, and Digital Labs teams. Amex Ventures' Managing Director of Fintech and Commerce Margaret Lim and Director of Business Development and Strategy Jennifer Cozen provided insight into Amex Ventures’ focus on commerce and start-up partnerships, sharing our expansive interests ranging from discovery to post-purchase experiences and loyalty to our search for new innovative commerce concepts. Sabre Hospitality announced a partnership with Sensible Weather, an Amex Ventures portfolio company, that enables guests booking through Sabre's SynXis Booking Engine to enjoy weather protection for their stays. Eligible guests will be automatically reimbursed for specific weather-related events and can book alternative experiences onsite. Read more below:

We’re excited to announce a new pilot functionality with our portfolio company Knot to improve the shopping experience for our Card Members and merchants.
