About us
The Department of the Air Force Chief Modeling and Simulation Office (DAFCMSO) serves as the Air Force and Space Force Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Executive under the authority of Secretary of the U.S. Air Force/Acquisition. This office stems from recommendations by the M&S Executive Steering Group to establish a single authority for M&S across the Department of the Air Force. The DAFCMSO oversees the development and execution of the M&S Strategic Flight plan, policy, standards, and roadmaps to promote commonality, reuse, interoperability, efficiency, and effectiveness across the USAF and US Space Force (USSF) M&S Enterprise.

Excellent opportunity to support AF Analytics.
I am hiring! I'd appreciate your help in sharing this widely. I'm looking for a new GS-15 Force Projection Division division chief, SAF/SAWP, here at the Pentagon. This is a high-visibility 1515 analyst leadership position in the foremost campaign analysis shop in the Dept of the Air Force, with responsibilities to lead and manage operational-level mobility, combat logistics, and strike studies for the Secretary, Chief of Staff of the AF, and Chief of Space Operations. The 20-person division has a mix of USAF officers from the ops analyst career field as well as mobility aviation and logistics readiness, government civilian 1515 analysts and logistics planners, and supporting contractors. We use a suite of modeling and simulation tools and highly classified data, and collaborate with OSD, the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, USAF MAJCOMs, USSF FLDCOMs, and of course Dept of the Air Force HQ organizations to do our job.
