Planning Support Manager

Salary: £42,055 - £45,291
Location: Oban
Terms: Permanent, full time

The postholder will work across the West region, providing support and mentoring to the team of seven planning foresters on the development of Land Management Plans and analyse and understand the implications of proposals in these plans. The postholder will negotiate with stakeholders, and take decisions along with others in the team.

To be effective in this role you will have demonstrable experience of either forest operations, forest or land management and must have experience in forest land management planning.


Head of Harvesting Support

The Head of Harvesting support provides strategic oversight and technical support to Regional Delivery teams. This role will increase the efficiency of our timber harvesting machinery fleet and work on emerging strategic initiatives including the creation of a harvesting data repository and associated analysis.

This role carries significant autonomy and responsibility, taking projects from the planning and design stage through to completion. Our Civil Engineers play a key role in the commercial management of works and ensuring health and safety on sites across their region.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics, plant nurseries, or a related field, with the ability to coordinate complex operations and manage multiple stakeholders.
