SoftPro 40th Anniversary Customer Testimonial — Jennifer Fowler

In honor of SoftPro's 40th anniversary in 2024, Jennifer Fowler, paralegal at Isaacson Sheridan, sat down with us to share what she likes best about SoftPro and the firm has remained a SoftPro customer for the last 40 years.

Greensboro, NC-based law firm Isaacson Sheridan was among the first to adopt SoftPro in 1984, when SoftPro founder Loren Harrell began touring the state to demonstrate the then brand-new closing and title software. Since then, both the real estate industry and the firms that practice title and escrow have seen incredible changes. Jennifer Fowler, who has been a paralegal at Isaacson Sheridan for the last 17 years*, has seen many of these changes first-hand. She credits the firm's use of SoftPro with helping them stay head of the curve. "I believe that SoftPro has helped us evolve in that they keep ahead of technology, so it makes it very easy for us to do closing statements," she says. She also mentions how Isaacson Sheridan utilizes the other services that are integrated with SoftPro through SoftPro 360, the free vendor portal that links SoftPro users to a nationwide network of over 70 vendors for services such as eRecording, CPLs, jackets, eClosings, property and tax searches, and more. SoftPro 360 supports one-time data entry to reduce keystrokes and improve accuracy, and all of the information from the order is automatically passed back to your SoftPro file, so there’s no need to rekey information or visit multiple websites. "I think it all makes my whole job very easy," Jennifer adds.

Jennifer also credits SoftPro's award-winning support team with making her job easier and helping Isaason Sheridan to keep running smoothly. "SoftPro's customer service is great. They're very fast at getting back with you," she says. "Anytime I have had an issue, I've always gotten a call back the same day." 

When asked why she believes Isaacson Sheridan has remained a customer of SoftPro over the last 40 years, Jennifer points out the consistency of the product and of the user experience. Addressing SoftPro, she goes on to say "Your customer service is consistent [and] you stay ahead of the curve on technology." She also points out that, thanks to SoftPro, Isaacson Sheridan is able to complete both residential and commercial closings, as well as title insurance work. This has allowed Isaacson Sheridan to evolve the kind of work that they have done over the years to better meet the needs of the market and the direction they've wanted to take their business.
