(Senior) Research Scholar (Special Projects Track), Institute for Law & AI

The Research Scholar (Special Project Track) program is designed to support the career development of AI law & policy researchers and practitioners, while offering an opportunity to do high-impact work. The salary range is $100,000 – $121,000 for Research Scholars and $120,000 – $154,000 for Senior Research Scholars, depending on experience and location. There is flexibility in salary for exceptional candidates with significant experience, for example, candidates with more than a decade of experience building partnerships for a major think tank, university, or company; organizing major national or international conferences; convening senior leaders and researchers; or building company-wide research or operations systems.


Senior Congressional Innovation Fellow, TechCongress

TechCongress is building 21st century government with technology talent through its Senior Congressional Innovation Fellowship (mid-career) and Congressional Innovation Fellowship (early-career). TechCongress is searching for up to sixteen fellows for its January 2025 cohort — 6-8 to serve in Democratic offices and 6-8 to serve in Republican offices.

Director, Content and AI Policy, Risk, Compliance, Integrity, Google

As Director, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of policy experts to shape, craft, and codify Google’s content and AI compliance policies. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of content and AI policies and supporting documents, and work closely with other teams within Google (e.g., Regulatory Affairs and Legal teams) on legal interpretation. You and the team will engage broadly to build awareness of policies, and to solicit input in the development and refinement of policies. You will define key control sets for a given policy to ensure control coverage and consistency of controls across the business.


Head of Policy, Factorial

Factorial is looking for a french speaking Head of Policy with a strong ability to do government affairs work, especially in France. The Head of Policy will be working closely with the leadership and with senior advisor Cornelia Kutterer (former Senior Director of EU Government Affairs at Microsoft) to engage with relevant stakeholders and develop strategic partnerships. You will be a key enabler in ensuring that SaferAI work is distributed to stakeholders who need it and in ensuring that the coming French AI Summit covers safety adequately.

The Senior Director of Cybersecurity Programs oversees all aspects of Aspen Digital’s cybersecurity programs and initiatives, both existing and to be developed. Along with staff, the Senior Director ensures superb execution of existing projects and top-tier gatherings and working groups, identifies and drives policy change across the cybersecurity arena, and engages deeply with high-profile stakeholders across government, the private sector and civil society. Already a subject matter expert, the ideal candidate will consistently grow thought leadership and a strong professional network relevant to cybersecurity and technology, as well as help develop a vision and strategy for the next iteration of Aspen Digital’s growth and leadership in the field.


Federal Policy Lead, Center for AI Safety

The Federal Policy Lead at CAIS is a pivotal role that involves steering and managing the organization's Federal policy and advocacy work. This position requires a strategic mindset and the ability to navigate complex policy landscapes. It will require an understanding of the evolving political landscape as well as the general public’s viewpoints regarding AI risks and safety. The Federal Policy Lead will be responsible for setting and implementing the strategy for CAIS’s policy priorities and goals. For 2024-2025, this may include working on compute governance, securing funding for NIST, liability for AI companies, and so on. This may also include broader advocacy efforts.


Policy Manager - AI Governance - EU, Credo AI

Credo AI is looking for a motivated, driven individual to join its Policy Team as Policy Manager - Europe (fully remote) based in the European Union (Brussels preferred). Credo AI’s Policy Team is responsible for developing an overarching policy strategy and philosophy for Credo AI in regard to policy advocacy, intelligence, partnerships, and engagement.
