Introducing the AI-Powered Nonprofit Landscape
We’ve seen a lot of landscapes about AI, but none about AI-powered nonprofits (APNs). So, we created one. Why? In the words of Fast Forward co-founder Kevin Barenblat, “The story of AI is not yet written, and it’s being written by us." By making sense of what’s happening in the world of APNs, we hope to inspire more innovators toward AI for humanity. Explore the published landscape in Stanford Social Innovation Review, and be sure to follow the series for future articles.
Thinking About Deploying AI?
We’re (obviously) big fans of AI-powered nonprofits. The potential for good is undeniable. But not every nonprofit needs to make AI the main thing. How will you know if it’s the right tool for you to deliver the greatest results for your beneficiaries? Remember: impact is paramount. AI should amplify your mission, not overshadow it. In a recent The Chronicle of Philanthropy article, leaders from Fast Forward, Koko, and CareerVillage.org shared their hard-earned lessons on leveraging AI for good. Their insights offer a clear path forward: start with your mission, assess your needs, and then consider AI as a potential solution. Check out the article to get your gears turning.
