I got that line from my Father when i would complain about being pulled out of a baseball game and it is so true no matter what you are doing. " If your hitting they can't sit you down" still rings in my ears today.  From baseball to business if your succeeding or performing each and every day  you will always be in the game! So tell me are you up to bat or perpetually in the on deck circle? My Father would never be quoted on a Hallmark card for sure. When i was 9 and I didn't make any little league team and feeling bad for myself he looked right at me and said "Well I guess you will have a lot of time to practice for next year!"

Warm and fuzzy no, practical advice yes! I guess the moral of the story is work hard, practice until you are the best and continue to take some swings!
