Win an Ice Bath!

Win a Brass Monkey for £5

This month, we’re joining forces with the super-human Jordan Mulligan to support an incredible cause…

The pioneering filmmaker and his wife lost their son, Jacob, at 32 weeks. He was stillborn. They had a funeral, but couldn’t afford a headstone. Now, Jordan is raising money to establish the Jacob Mulligan Charity to provide financial support for families who can’t afford gravestones for their babies. To support this worthy cause we’ve donated a Brass Monkey into a prize draw. For your chance to win, buy a £5 ticket.

And the good new is, the more tickets you buy, the bigger your chance to win! Tell your friends, tell your family, every fiver makes a difference.

Big love,

Dan x

Fancy a wild swim?

We’re touring the country and building up a fine collection of wild swimming locations for your dipping pleasure. So far we’ve worked our way through the sub counties of Yorkshire, Cumbria & The Lake District, and we’re currently dipping our way through Cheshire (out next month). Take a look at the Dip Spot series so far. If you’d like to share your favourite dip spot, please get in touch, we’d love to hear form you!

SAS Ollie Ollerton

Cold water immersion is used in SAS training because it builds resilience like nothing else on earth. But Ollie Ollerton of Channel 4’s SAS Who Dares Wins fame, has a Brass Monkey for all the other health benefits, too. We teamed up with him to create a series of videos to focus on debunking dangerous alpha behaviour around ice baths and talking about safety in the cold. It’s not a game of who can go colder and longer, it’s a personal journey and the cold demands respect. Stay tuned for the release!

Ice Baths at home

Have you seen our collection of At Home range of Ice Baths? With 8 finishes to choose from as well as custom made options available, there’s never been a more beautiful way to recharge your mind body and soul.  Brass Monkey is also a great source of inspiration and information about cold water and all its physical and mental health benefits, because we want the world to discover the power of the cold, whether you have a Brass Monkey, or not.

Libertine on ice

Pete Doherty. A name that still conjures the image of a sallow-skinned, drug addicted rockstar loping around London through flashes of paparazzi, one arm draped around a supermodel, the other holding a cigarette to his lips. Today, the man in front of us is unrecognisable from the frontman of the 90s. He talks to Brass Monkey about the cold as his new source of inspiration. Join us for the latest episode of The Cold is my Teacher.

Meet your new favourite hoodie

Our apparel collection dropped last month and it’s going down a storm. You’re loving the hoodies and sweatshirts in particular, and we don’t blame you! Take a look at the collection, made with 100% organic, super soft cotton and sustainable materials in nature-inspired colours and prints and bold as your spirit. Don’t forget to sign up for 10% off your first order.

Joe Wicks festival at Kew Gardens

We can officially confirm that Kew Gardens is a stunning place to take a dip. We loved sharing the power of the cold with so many of you who came to see us at the Joe Wicks Festival at the start of July. You were blown away by what sitting in cold water for 1-2 minutes can do to your mind and body. You have to feel it to believe it, so stay tuned for more events where you too can experience the power of the cold – Brass Monkey style!
