What are your quirks?

Embracing your quirks is one of the best ways to deliver authenticity when presenting.

To build your connection and rapport with your audience, I’ve found that you need to give something of yourself that is individually you.

Think about what makes you unique. For some, it’s their sense of humour, and intuitive timing.

Alternatively, think about your life experience, and always look to share something about yourself that your audiences would not otherwise have known, ideally in a way that links to your presentation, but endears you, separately to your content. 

Remember, we buy from people we like. Being interesting, and different, is a big part of being liked.

Being you will make sure that not only will you stand out, but that you’re going to be comfortable, and enjoy presenting.
