UPS Goes Faster… 25,000 times faster

If there’s one thing Polish businesses know, it’s czas to pieniądz. Time is money.

Just ask Cafardini, a maker of high quality bespoke suits that they ship all over Europe. Back in 2010 they needed a logistics provider who could not only handle their complex supply chain, but also provide the special handling and meet the time commitments their international customers expect.

UPS was able to step in with a wide range of solutions to bring Cafardini’s suits to their customers in the right condition, at the right time, and in the right place.

That’s just one example of how in business, time is of the essence.

Different businesses have different needs of course. Whether you require that spare part to be delivered by 9am to prevent downtime on the production line or you’ve promised your online shoppers a simple returns process – fast and dependable logistics are key.

Our people are always working to provide our customers with even better service…so they can provide their customers with better service. With this in mind, UPS recently expanded its Express services in more than 25,000 postal codes across Poland.

Our people are always working to provide our customers with even better service.

Packages shipped with UPS Express® will now be delivered before 10:30 am to 18,282 postal codes. UPS Express Saver® packages will also now be delivered by noon to 10,142 postal codes, and to an additional 11,805 postal codes by 2:00 pm. We want our customers have confidence in our services, so we’re also backing-up our time commitments with a money back guarantee.

And we are not stopping there…we’re just warming up. We’re planning to invest $2 billion in our European network between 2014 and 2019 in order to expand destinations, enhance time in transit, and increase overall infrastructure capacity. In June, for example, we announced improvements to UPS Standard, our most economical ground service, including faster service between Poland and Germany and Austria.

Because fast and reliable shipping is important to consumers. According to the UPS Pulse of the Online Shopper™ study, 58% of online shoppers will abandon their cart if they feel the delivery time is too lengthy. Moreover, 43% of customers say that a late delivery decreases their likelihood to buy from the same merchant again. With faster UPS Express services, retailers in Poland can continue to increase consumer satisfaction by getting products to their customers quickly and at an affordable price.

All these enhancements are proof of UPS’s high service quality, our confidence in the Polish market, and our commitment to meeting customers’ needs.
