Sharing Some Holiday Cheer Through Creativity

At Publicis Health, public service and supporting the people and communities where we live and work are essential tenets of what we believe. April is National Volunteer Month, an opportunity for each of us to give back in ways big and small. Throughout April, we’re happy to share volunteer stories of team members from across Publicis Health.

Sloane Taylor, who previously served as Talent Acquisition Program Manager at Publicis Health, and currently serves as Senior Associate Resource Management at Razorfish Health, shares her experiences volunteering in support of Cards for Hospitalized Kids.

When the Publicis Health Talent Acquisition team had a chance to get together at the end of 2022, we were determined to find a way to celebrate the holidays cheerfully, while also getting the chance to give back to our community. As creative people who also like to have fun together, we decided an art project was the way to go to get everyone involved! We came across an organization called Cards for Hospitalized Kids (CFHK) and immediately knew what we wanted to do.

CFHK is a “charitable organization that spreads hope, joy, and magic to hospitalized kids across America through uplifting, homemade cards.” With art supplies (including super-cute stickers), fun music, and hot chocolate in hand, we set to work! Our team was able to make almost 100 cards to be sent to CFHK, who then distributed them to various hospitals around the U.S. We had a great day together, showed our personalities through what we made, and spread some joy at the same time!
