A re-introduction to...me!
If you didn’t know already, I’d like to re-introduce myself! I’m Lorrayne, I’m based in my home office in West Sussex. After working in an office environment for the past 22 years, I decided in October 2019 that a change was needed, I took a leap of faith and purchased a Virtual Assistant Business Guidance course. I was contracting and whilst worked at some fantastic places, I wasn’t enjoying the commuting side of things so in preparation for my transformation I purchased the course. My last official contract ended in March 2020. Then COVID hit. In between there and now I've completed 9 courses. I’ve built up more skills and knowledge and in June 2020 I officially launched LC Virtual Solutions UK. With all of my experience and knowledge over the years, I realised I could help and support so many small businesses around the UK offering many different services which are:
*Traditional admin support which includes; diary and calendar management, inbox management, travel planning and booking, spreadsheet creation, maintenance and management, file management e.g. BOX and Google Drive, template creation, minutes and transcription, proofreading, creation of systems and processes to manage internal admin, event coordination and planning, stock analysis/management.
*Marketing support – includes; Database cleansing, creating and scheduling of broadcast emails. Editing and proofreading of emails.
*Customer Service support – responding to customer initial enquiries and queries, processing refunds, chasing payment, management of onboarding process, management of client termination process.
*Social Media and Content support – creation of social media accounts/profiles, creation of social media graphics including banners, headers, background and sourcing images, monitoring of social media accounts and responding to enquiries/interaction, writing blog posts, uploading blog posts to social media, researching keywords, arranging celebration gifts/cards on client key dates.
*Financial support – general bookkeeping including creation of invoices and credit control.
*Project coordination and management – administration of project plans, coordination of documentation, capturing risks and issues, collation of steering group documentation, taking and producing minutes.
I mainly support hair salons, beauty salons, online small homeware shops, health and wellbeing coaches, gardening businesses and many more. I absolutely love what I do. It was the best decision I've made. I have a work life balance; I have work satisfaction. I really enjoy helping people who have similar work ethics as me but love having fun!
