OUR ST LOUIS BLUES HAVE HIT A POTHOLE

#3) The BIG FOUR forwards have been pretty much a non factor in the last 13 games, including last night.

Ever since the Blues steamroller hit this mid-winter pothole 13 games ago, ROR, Schenn, DP 57, and Schwartz have been virtually silent. Including last night, during this span, ROR has 2 goals, and the other three have 3 each.There were five of those 13 games in which all four of these forwards collectively produced zero goals. If you take these 13 games and average them out as a percentage of the entire season, then the goal production for the entire season would look like this--Schenn, DP 57, and Schwartz would have 18.9 goals each for this entire season and ROR would have 12.6 at season's end.

To win a championship, your BIG GUNS have to score goals through out the entire season and playoffs. But when they all go silent at the same time, that big POTHOLE is just staring right in your face.
