Investing in Early Talent to harness the future of Technology & Innovation
Over the past few weeks we have welcomed our incoming summer co-op students and interns to our programs in Canada and the U.S. with a goal to identify the next generation of leaders and changemakers. We are providing opportunities for early talent to discover pathways to keep building their career beyond graduation.
As part of our Student Leadership Academy in Canada, co-op and summer students are provided opportunities to build a foundation of skills and experiences that will shape their future career. The program provides targeted learning and development, networking with colleagues and leaders, panel presentation and workshop events focused on their career development. In addition, we introduce our students to CIBC’s Future Leaders speaker series where they will hear from industry experts, CIBC leaders, and internal talent on emerging trends in technology and innovation, including topics like AI.
Over the next four months, this year’s cohort will be exposed to a range of career building opportunities and will receive hands-on exposure to emerging technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Cloud, and related areas.
At CIBC we are committed to investing in early talent to help them build the skills they need to launch their career when they graduate.
