Transcript Genius' Powerful New Features!

Check out new enhancements to Transcript Genius, Steno's AI-powered transcript analysis tool available right in your Firm Dashboard. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we've added powerful new features to make your transcript analysis even more efficient. Here's what's new for our beta program participants:

🎤 Interrogate Multiple Transcripts

Transcript Genius's new Multi-Transcript Interrogation feature allows users to analyze multiple transcripts simultaneously. Compare witness statements, identify patterns or inconsistencies, and generate summaries, and surface insights from a broader set of data.

📄 Upload Transcripts

Transcript Genius now supports uploading non-Steno transcripts, allowing firms to analyze their entire transcript library. This feature is being gradually rolled out to beta testers. Users can upload .TXT format transcripts, with PDF support coming soon.

DelayPay Helps New Law Firm Win $32 Million Verdict

Shahrad Milanfar, previously a defense attorney for catastrophic personal injury cases, founded Milanfar Law Firm, PC in 2020 and transitioned to plaintiff's work. His first major case involved an 88-year-old woman suffering from dementia and deafness, who experienced severe neglect during the Kincade Fire evacuation. Despite the difficulty of proving the case, Milanfar took it on, driven by a personal connection to the victim's plight.

The case was complex, requiring extensive discovery and depositions, which were costly and time-consuming. To manage these expenses, Milanfar used Steno's DelayPay, allowing him to take 22 depositions without upfront costs. This financial flexibility was crucial, enabling Milanfar to focus on building a strong case. The effort paid off with a $32.1 million verdict, one of the largest elder abuse verdicts in California in 2023.
