Good Enough Sucks

Good Enough Sucks

Back at the start of 2014 I listened with delight to an interview with Bill Wright, who at the time was Co-Executive Creative Director at McCann Erickson...his words stuck with me, and for good reason. He took me back to my days in corporate America, where I was working my 8th year of projects at a Fortune100 before they mandated a new project management ethos of ‘Just Good Enough’.

That never sat well with me –I always wanted to do and be better than the last implementation or system update or [enter any other record here].

Fast forward to Bill Wright explaining that in his opinion, good enough sucks...couldn't agree with him more, and so today we unveil our newest office addition, soon to be adorned with shelves holding some of the 34 local, national, and international awards we earned in 2014 alone.

I found the audio of the interview at the link below, worth a listen, especially if you're a creative that's tired of the status quo:

Thanks, team efelle, for making sure good enough is NEVER enough!

I visited effelle in college sometime around 2018 or 19 and I’ll never forget it. Extremely Iinspiring it has since served as a role model to the kind of place I want to work. And “good enough sucks” has become one of my mantras. Hope all is good at efelle!
