This feature recognizes Marshall Award for Values in Sport recipient, Kevin Demoff, Co-founder and Executive Sponsor of the Black Sports Business Symposium and Los Angeles Rams President and Kroenke Sports & Entertainment President, Team & Media Operations. 

Responsibility: Serves as the team’s top front office executive and liaison to owner and chairman, Stan Kroenke, on all organizational matters.

What are some key accomplishments achieved with the Los Angeles Rams?

Under Kevin Demoff's leadership, the Los Angeles Rams achieved significant milestones, including delivering on Stan Kroenke's vision for Hollywood Park, which features SoFi Stadium, and winning a Super Bowl Championship.

The Rams' impact and leadership have been recognized through several awards, including the San Fernando Valley Business Journal's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award, the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce's Distinguished Business Leader Award, and the Salvation Army's Humanitarian Award.

How has Kevin contributed to the Los Angeles community with the Rams?

Demoff spearheaded initiatives such as funding City Year student success teams and school beautification projects in Watts and Inglewood, showcasing a strong commitment to community support and educational empowerment.

How does Kevin promote inclusive leadership?

Demoff intentionally built one of the most diverse front offices in sports, with the Rams ranking highly in terms of racial and gender diversity. He also co-founded the Black Sports Business Symposium to create opportunities for diverse professionals and increase representation in the industry.

Kevin has also been recognized personally, earning prestigious awards such as the Fritz Pollard Alliance's Daniel M. Rooney Lifetime Achievement award and the Sports Business Journal's Leader in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion award. He is also a member of the Los Angeles Business Journal's LA500 and Sports Illustrated's "NFL's 10 Future Power Brokers."

About the Medal of Leadership Awards

The Marshall Award for Values in Sport was inspired by Cynthia “Cynt” Marshall, CEO of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, and Co-Founder of Pro Sports Assembly. As the first Black female CEO in the NBA, she represents strength and impact for the organization, its greater community, and the professional sports ecosystem. This medal is presented to a trailblazing Pro Sports Assembly member who exemplifies Character, Respect, Authenticity, Fairness, Teamwork and Safety.

Pro Sports Assembly (“PRO”), the association for professional sports business leaders, will present the 2024 class of honorees for the PRO Medal of Leadership Awards on June 5, 2024 at The Assembly: Pro Sports Leadership Retreat and Workshop.
