Celebrating Pride Every Day

In this Fair360 Insights video, Ceah Justice, Head of Global Employee Engagement at RTX, shared a powerful message about the importance of authenticity as a leader in the workplace.

"A lot of times sitting in this seat, we tend to shy away from those personal things about us. But those personal things are what builds trust. I show my pride every single day at work by making sure I show up as authentic as I possibly can."

In addition to the points mentioned in the video, there are several other ways in which organizations can support the LGBTQ+ community in the workforce outside of Pride Month.

Inclusive Leadership: Engage leaders who actively support LGBTQ+ inclusion and understand what Pride means to individuals within the organization.

Diverse Representation: Ensure representation of LGBTQ+ individuals in leadership and decision-making roles to reflect a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Employee Engagement: Create programs that involve employees at all levels, such as global employee engagement initiatives that celebrate Pride and foster an inclusive culture.

Recruitment Practices: Implement DEI recruiting strategies to attract a diverse workforce, including LGBTQ+ talent.

Supportive Policies: Review and update company policies to ensure they are inclusive and equitable, providing support for LGBTQ+ employees.
