Dobbs Defense Solutions Named SBA’s 2024 Maryland Veteran-Owned Small Business of the Year

Baltimore, MD, June 6, 2024 – The Baltimore District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration has announced that Dobbs Defense Solutions (D2S) is the 2024 Maryland Veteran Owned Small Business of the Year.

For the past 40 years, the Maryland Small Business Awards have honored the best and brightest of enterprise in the state. This year 15 businesses have been named as awardees.

For D2S this honor comes on top of being ranked as the fastest growing private business in Maryland by Inc. Magazine, the election to the Forbes Technology Council, and the D2S President & CEO Erica Dobbs being named as one of the Top 100 Women in Maryland by The Daily Record.

The Maryland Small Business Award winners will be honored at a reception on June 6, 2024 at Martin’s West in Woodlawn, Maryland.  The event is part of the national declaration made every year by the President of the United States for National Small Business Week.
