Dave Pietramala Out as Johns Hopkins Men's Lacrosse Coach

Dave Pietramala and Johns Hopkins have mutually agreed to part ways and the Blue Jays will begin a National Search for a new Head Coach immediately. Johns Hopkins had won National Championships in 2005 and 2007 under Pietramala but had taken a step back in recent years and not made it to the Final Four since 2015. Overall Pietramala guided the Blue Jays to seven Final Four appearances and four National Championship games including winning it all in 2005 and 2007. Pietramala also led Johns Hopkins to a pair of Big Ten Tournament Titles (2015, 2018). Dave Pietramala departs as the winningest coach in Johns Hopkins school history. It will be very interesting to see who Director of Athletic Jennifer S. Baker tabs as his successor as whoever it is will have some giant shoes to fill.
