Celebrating National Engineer Week: Team Reflections

As we celebrate National Engineer Week, it's the perfect time to reflect on the unique experiences and perspectives within our own team.

Claudio Abraham Ramirez Orezza, Associate Engineer at Andersen Windows

To Claudio, being an engineer involves a unique blend of individuality and collaboration. He believes each engineer brings distinct skills, perspectives, and creativity to the table. Individuality is expressed through problem-solving and innovation. But he also believes that the true power of engineering lies in the ability to synergize individual strengths within a team. "It's the collaborative effort, where diverse minds converge to tackle complex challenges, that often leads to breakthroughs," he said. "At Andersen, I have learned that it is in this dynamic interplay between individuality and teamwork that we, as engineers, can find a balance that allows us to be true to ourselves while contributing to something greater."

Kyra Kuplic , Engineer I at Renewal by Andersen

Kyra, who has been with us for over 3 years, said, "being an engineer gives me an outlet to be creative, solve complex problems, and do things I never thought I could do." From working in the lab to collaborating on computer-based software, she finds that each day brings new challenges and opportunities. She especially highlighted the pride she feels when helping to launch a new product, which requires tremendous collective effort and hard work.

Thank you to Kyra, Claudio, and all Andersen engineers for your dedication, creativity, and teamwork! Your contributions not only shape the success of our projects, they also define our innovative, #AllTogether culture.
