🌟 Musings on the Potential of AI and Robotics in Waste Management 🌱 AI has demonstrated exceptional capability in sorting and classifying various objects, not just cats! This seemingly simple ability holds immense potential when applied to the realm of waste management. Imagine a scenario where our rubbish dumps are neatly organised into categories like organic, paper, plastic, metal, glass, and other materials. With AI-driven robotics efficiently sorting through this waste, we could unlock a world of opportunities for sustainable waste management. Sorting waste at scale could enable us to recycle more effectively. Moreover, the vast amount of organic waste could be processed into biochar via pyrolysis, offering a sustainable solution to reduce landfill waste and mitigate environmental impact.
