Warning : Suicide Content. Please do not read this post if you have trigger. Thanks to R U OK? to address the 'smiling depression' for the first time in their campaign. Common myth that people with depression symptoms only display ‘depressed’ characters. I had come across two stories about the boys that were always laughing and then we lost them. Too often people with smiling depression were labelled as 'FAKE' when they asked for help, and then they became 'fake' victims of the abuser. The construction industry has 2nd highest suicide rates because: ✍🏻 Man-Up culture instead of Speak-Up Culture ✍🏻 The male dominated industry who does not support Empathetic culture ✍🏻 Unaware of smiling depression ✍🏻 Depression is still considered a stigma and unaware that some people with depression are still high functional. If you want to know about mental health, and help someone by boosting your empathetic skills, please contact the undersigned. I'm very passionate in this topic. My mission is to prevent suicide. With gratitude and blessings Yuliana Gunawan Please read my article below and personal message "Nobody fakes depression" Boost your empathetic skills before you lose someone https://lnkd.in/gmVwsQ3J
