"Why Some CA Articles May Struggle to Secure Stipends that Meet Their Monthly Needs" Hey Your Consultant is Here, We are getting messages for part time job, paid internships side by side from many CA article. Why is this happening right now? I think every CA student has faced financial challenges during their studies unless they come from affluent families. However, in CA, those are less common. I'm not of the thought that they should be paid more or less, but they should be paid a reasonable amount that can just manage their expenses in their respective cities, as most of the students have moved to the cities for articleship. I don't think any firm in practice can't do this; they are well capable of it. The only thing is they also need to consider this aspect, as it's a process to becoming a successful CA. However, everything is changing nowadays, including our working culture, types of work, and hours of work. This factor should also change a little bit, as many face some small issues due to financial constraints, which they may not even convey to their family. A 20-year-old article is way too mature, so they understand every issue, including those of their family. At last every one have listened one line “ Paise ki baat nhi hai re sikhna hai kama toh baad me bhi lenge “ #linkedin #linkedinforcreators #stockmarket #financecreator #linkedIn #directtax #tax #incometa #taxation #taxcompliance #incometax #caaspirants #cajobs #cacommunity #charteredaccountant #auditors #auditjobs #auditmanager

Chartered Accountant (Nov'22) || B.COM || RU || RSM USI || Ex- Tata Power || Internal Audit || IFC || Business Risk Consulting
Choosing between an industrial internship and traditional articleship is a pivotal decision for aspiring Chartered Accountants. Here’s a breakdown to help you weigh your options: 👉Pros of Industrial Internship: 🟢Diverse Exposure: Gain insights into financial operations across different industries, broadening your understanding beyond audit and taxation. 🟢Skill Diversification: Opportunity to develop a wide range of skills including financial analysis, management reporting, and ERP system proficiency. 🟢Corporate Environment: Experience working in a corporate setup, understanding governance, compliance, and internal controls from an industry perspective. 🟢Networking: Build connections with professionals outside the accounting domain, potentially opening doors to diverse career paths. 👉Cons of Industrial Internship: 🔴Limited CA Exposure: May miss out on specialized CA skills like tax audits, statutory compliance, and audit methodologies specific to CA firms. 🔴Exam Preparation: Balancing internship responsibilities with exam preparation can be challenging, requiring strong time management skills.

As an aspiring CA(SA)…. ….studying towards a Diploma and not a Bachelor’s in Accounting, I feel like we students who are ought to take bridging courses such as Advanced Diploma’s/BCTA before obtaining or getting enrolled for our CTA’s are not really spoken about/motivated or even considered. Firms prefer Bachelor students and give opportunities to them the most (job requirements at most firms include a Bachelor’s qualification) and to me as a Senior year student studying towards a Diploma Qualification, looking for Firms to do Vacation work/ internships or work integrated at, I have to struggle a lot before I get recognition from firms. Don’t get me wrong, I do know that a Bachelor degree is more advanced than a Diploma and maybe that’s why Firms opt for it more than a Diploma, however a Diploma is still a qualification and I wish Firms would consider giving us chances as well because we really are doing our level best. Our journeys may take a little longer than others but we all will get to our destinations at the end. Consider us too, we might actually surprise you. Have a blessed week ahead everyone ☺️ #recognition #caaspirants #accountingandaccountants #diploma

The guide towards a 1,50,000 per month stipend in Management Consulting as a CA Finalist 1. CV Shortlisting: > How and When to Apply: Stay in touch with colleagues or seniors at BCG. You might receive a WhatsApp forward or see a LinkedIn post with the application link > Shortlisting Criteria: A rank in any of the CA exams is preferred but not essential (e.g., Garima Sobti). They look for candidates with all-rounder skills and mastery in any one domain. Highlight academic excellence, communication skills, sports, leadership, and key responsibilities handled > When to Expect Results: About a month after the application deadline 2. Interview Preparation (also for CA Qualified Candidates): > Talk to Your Buddies: Connect with your assigned buddies to understand the interview format and gather tips. Be flexible with your timing as they are busy too with their strict deadlines > Grasping Case Studies: Start with YouTube videos and "Case Interview Cracked" for basics. Mastery comes with practice. > Form a Group: I recommend forming a group of three friends to solve case studies together, offering perspectives as an interviewer, interviewee, and observer. Aim to solve atleast one case study daily. > Mastering the Art: Develop your own MECE (Mutually Exclusive, Collectively Exhaustive) framework for different case types. Update your framework with each case study. > Resources: Use the latest editions of IIM-A, B, and C modules. Understand industry insights at the end of these modules. More practice enhances your chances. 3. The Interview Day: > When to Expect: Typically, 20-30 days after shortlisting. The process starts in the morning and can extend to late evening, with shortlisting after each round > Number of Rounds: Usually 2 rounds, but it can vary up to 4. > Collaborate with Your Interviewer: The interviewer helps if you get off track. Apply a solid framework and stay focused > Take Breaks: Ask for time to organize your thoughts. Avoid specifying a duration—use the time to prepare the next 2-3 steps for smooth conversation > Selection Rate: Not specified, but expect around 30% of shortlisted candidates 4. Selected—What Next? > PPO (Pre-Placement Offer): You need to pass CA Final in your first attempt and receive positive feedback from partners/managers > PPO Success Rate: Over 75% of CA interns have secured a PPO till date > Internship Credit: Once you join full-time, your internship will count towards a 6-month credit I hope this guide helps! If you want to see the CV that got me shortlisted for BCG, comment with your email ID. Wishing you all the best! 😊
