Today I attended a Zurich Insurance Women’s Innovation Network event where Danae from Ambitious about Autism and our very own Laura Wright were just 2 of the wonderful panelist’s, talking about why inclusion is so integral in the workplace and why it’s important to question and challenge behaviours. My biggest learn from the session was how it’s important to make all my meetings inclusive, and challenge myself on how I can do that, be it extra breaks, allow for cameras off, or time for reflection. #zurichinsurance #alwayslearning
We are delighted to support Ambitious about Autism, along with Z Zurich Foundation in a three-year collaboration, to develop a national programme to support the mental wellbeing of thousands of autistic pupils in mainstream secondary schools in the UK. The 'Autistic and OK' peer to peer toolkit was designed by young autistic people, for younger autistic people. Here's Lily, an autistic youth advisor, on Sky News, talking about the wider issues faced by autistic young people. Lily was joined by Danae Leaman-Hill Director of External Affairs at Ambitious About Autism. A huge thank you to our friends at Broadcast Revolution who supported this campaign on a pro-bono basis as part of their #broadcastforgood activity. Today is World Autism Acceptance Day. Autism is a natural variation in how the brain processes information. This Autism Acceptance Day, let's celebrate the unique perspectives and incredible talents that autistic individuals bring to our communities. Autistic people are so much more than a diagnosis. They are artists, scientists, athletes, and leaders who make invaluable contributions to our world. Let's focus on their humanity, passions, and remarkable abilities - not just their autism. Everyone deserves to feel accepted, respected, and included. This Autism Acceptance Day, let's commit to building a more accessible, understanding world for autistic people of all ages. Small acts of kindness and advocacy can make a big difference. #AutismAwareness #NeurodiversityIsBeautiful #InclusionMatters

I’m bringing better accessibility & inclusivity into the beauty world | Founder & CEO of Human Beauty
We don’t need just awareness, we need acceptance! 🌈 April is Autism Acceptance Month, not Awareness Month. Awareness acknowledges the existence of autism, but that’s not enough. Acceptance fosters understanding and inclusion. Let's move beyond awareness and create a welcoming environment that celebrates neurodiversity, rather than just tolerating it! Acceptance is key to addressing the challenges faced by the autistic community and break stereotypes! There is no inclusive society without it! By truly listening to the autistic community and shifting our focus to acceptance, we can create a world where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential. Let’s educate ourselves, listen to autistic voices and celebrate each other’s strengths and differences! Let's celebrate neurodiversity together! #AutismAcceptance #Neurodiversity #InclusionMatters
