Global trends: Macro Trends : Male fashion a serious competition to women? Are shoes becoming to Men what bags are to women- A symbol of self - expression and marker of wealth. From spending lakhs on bags for women, now men are spending that amount on their shoes. Time for some furniture company to think of storage organisers for these expensive acquisitions. The thing with shoes is as opposed to watches,bags the wear and tear is high and almost zero inheritance value. So its a high end personal acquisition marking a big shift in earlier needs and wants of the Global male.
