The market participation of Chinese brands in global automotive industry is growing really fast, and even in the top-10 selling cars of pure EV their presence is spectacular. Regarding the participation of Chinese suppliers in production of process to build other company’s cars (American and European) is growing really fast, it’s tame to face that sooner or later China will be recognized as the country with more influence in automotive industry in the world.

🌟 Since 1945, Toyo has been crafting tires with a stellar reputation, hailing from Itami, Japan, with 14 sales companies worldwide. 💡 Meanwhile, Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. started its journey in 1917, introducing Japan’s first corded tire in 1921 from their Yokohama plant. 🔍 So, what sets apart Toyo vs. Yokohama tires? Toyo specializes in durable, all-terrain tires favored by off-road enthusiasts, while Yokohama excels in wet traction, especially on rainy roads. 🔬 Toyo’s forte lies in technologies like Nano Balance for optimized grip and Silent Wall for reduced noise. Conversely, Yokohama integrates innovations such as Orange Oil Compound for enhanced grip and BluEarth for eco-friendliness. 💲 Additionally, Toyo tires generally come at a slightly higher price point compared to Yokohama, which offers more budget-friendly options. 📝 In this article, I’ll delve into a comprehensive comparison between Toyo and Yokohama tires. Japan Excellence Mission Day 5 It was a chilling morning almost like 6 degrees and we went to 200 hundred-year-old World Class Company, Now they are sophisticated PCB Mfg. Total Digital Factory with associate members integrated using digital boards and screens. Top of the class infrastructure, We could see a live example of Karakuri, 5s, Poke Yoke Workstation., Daily meetings for problem-solving, and a close look at how we can make a digital Factory. Never knew that they started as a sewing machine manufacturer and now they are world class technology company. 2nd Half we visited the Toyota original Factory which is now a Museum. We connect all the dots throughout the week's learnings. It's really important to understand the origin of TPS and technology., We could see some top cars built with Hydrogen based technology. What's unique about this Museum is that all items on display are in working condition which means we can see demo and guided assistance to all displays. Starting as a loom mfg and becoming a behemoth mobility company is truly incredible.

New Challenges in the Electric Vehicle Sector Stepping into the electric vehicle industry has been an entirely new adventure for me—one that starkly contrasts with my previous experiences. The journey hasn’t been easy; I’ve had to dive deep into technical knowledge about electric vehicle components, learn to read blueprints, and fully grasp the engineers' requirements for implementing crucial improvements. For the first time in my career, I faced the daunting task of completing two probationary contracts to demonstrate my capabilities as both a buyer and a manager. This experience felt like a heavy blow to my professional pride, but it also served as an opportunity for growth. I've encountered moments of being overwhelmed, balancing the responsibilities of my role while managing a team. There were times when I seriously considered packing my bags and heading back to Saigon. Yet, my relentless spirit pushed me to confront my challenges head-on rather than retreat. Today, I stand proud as the only mid-level purchasing manager from Saigon who has thrived in this demanding environment. This journey has shown me that with determination and resilience, we can overcome any obstacle. I truly believe that with God guiding me, I can achieve anything. Let’s keep pushing our boundaries and striving for excellence! #ElectricVehicles #CareerGrowth #ChallengeAccepted #Resilience #Determination #WomenInBusiness #Leadership #ElectricVehicleIndustry #SaigonProud #KeepPushingBoundaries

Good morning everyone! Let me share a story from the book called "START WITH WHY" There is a wonderful story of a group of American car executives who went to Japan to see a Japanese assembly line. At the end of the line, the doors were put on the hinges, the same as in America. But something was missing. In the United States, a line worker would take a rubber mallet and tap the edges of the door to ensure that it fit perfectly. In Japan, that job didn't seem to exist. Confused, the American auto executives asked at what point they made sure the door fit perfectly. Their Japanese guide looked at them and smiled sheepishly. "We make sure it fits when we design it." In the Japanese auto plant, they didn't examine the problem and accumulate data to figure out the best solution—they engineered the outcome they wanted from the beginning. If they didn't achieve their desired outcome, they understood it was because of a decision they made at the start of the process. At the end of the day, the doors on the American-made and Japanese-made cars appeared to fit when each rolled off the assembly line. Except the Japanese didn't need to employ someone to hammer doors, nor did they need to buy any mallets. More impor-tantly, the Japanese doors are likely to last longer and maybe even be more structurally sound in an accident. All this for no other reason than they ensured the pieces fit from the start. Have a wonderful day! Ahmedin Mohammed #start_with_why #find_your_why #inspiration #motivation #why #wisdom

This eventuality is very plausible given the current Automotive Industry state and trend in China. Should this happen, it would have a major negative impact on the American and European OEM’s who have invested billions in technology, in their Products and expertise over many years in China which, will essentially be left behind. The loss of over some 50% of the OEM’s total global Sales will have serious consequences within these OEM’s, if a solution is not forthcoming.
When the China car market trend is not your friend. Nissan, GM, VW and others are tanking hard in China. GM China Sales 2017: 4.1 million 2024: 1.4 million (f) "Dunne predicts that most of the world’s biggest car companies will depart the Chinese market within the next five years." “If you stay in the joint venture and make no changes, your exit is inevitable,” Via @thewirechina The China Cliff For Foreign Carmakers https://lnkd.in/g_cw2N22
