📢 I hope to see you during INNOPOWER MINORITY BUSINESS WEEK @ RALLY‼️ InnoPower LLC (InnoPower Indy) has been on a mission to increase competitiveness and opportunities for Black Hoosiers in Indiana, and their impact continues to grow! Now in its 6th year, the 2024 InnoPower Minority Business Week (IMBW) conference will showcase the best of Black business, professionals, innovation, and talent across the state. IMBW @ RALLY represents a powerful collaboration between InnoPower and Rally, uniting to support Black entrepreneurs & professionals, strengthen Indiana's innovation ecosystem, as well as drive economic growth and inclusivity. IMBW @ RALLY will provide solutions and equip attendees with the knowledge, resources, and skills to survive and thrive. Programming topics include: Developing Economic Athletes – expanding people's capabilities and employability to fulfill the talent needs of a rapidly changing economy. Entrepreneurship – teaching essential skills and frameworks for starting a business, from the initial idea to financing and growth. Social Capital – creating an infrastructure that helps minorities better network to build their social capital. Finance – developing avenues that lead to better access to capital for minority businesses. Social Innovation – embracing new social practices that meet community needs better than existing solutions. Technology – increasing the participation of minorities in our state's Innovation Economy. What a blast to be helping connect two icons of the region's innovation ecosystem in one of those win-wins you cherish. The YBMA has been a standout for inspiring young minds (as well as some of the older ones in the audience!) to be the change they want to see in the world. Meanwhile the Hunter Innovation Festival knows that to create meaningful change we need a connection to our communities and a pathway that inspires emerging minds. And it's not just lip service - we mean action! We all know what it's like after the buzz of an innovation event to return to regular programming. So we're talking meaningful engagement: invitations to follow-up events, introductions to potential collaborators, and mentorship from those a few steps ahead.

I am proud to be part of the Founders Jury for Founder of the Year, Small Size Companies 2024! Bringing together experienced founders from Sweden and Holland across various sectors, the Founders Jury is truly extraordinary. This category includes active founders of a private or public limited company with a revenue of approximately 2-10 million euros and at least 20% ownership in a profitable company, based on the fiscal year 2023. In the coming weeks all nominees will be presented, assessed and finalists selected based on the criteria of the Founders Alliance Index, which takes into account past performance, future potential, and social benefits. As the next step, the finalists will present themselves and their companies to the Founders Jury. Presenting for a jury of peer founders offers valuable recognition and support to the finalists on their entrepreneurial journey. Our Nobellum team was proud to be a part of the Black Innovation Zone at the Elevate Festival. This event serves as a hub where entrepreneurs, innovators, and thought leaders come together to push the boundaries of what's possible. The energy and the innovation on display was truly inspiring! We were especially proud to support the incredible founders from our Jamaican Delegation, who confidently pitched their ventures for award prizes. Their passion and drive reminded me of the importance of stepping out and making your mark. Putting yourself out there, whether it’s in front of a panel of investors or a room full of peers, takes guts—but it’s essential for growth. As entrepreneurs, it’s easy to get caught up in the challenges of building a company, but moments like these reaffirm why we do what we do. Confidence in your vision and company is key. Trust in what you’re building, take those opportunities to showcase it, and watch your hard work open doors. To all founders out there: Keep pushing. Keep pitching.
