We talked about this yesterday in a group call with a coaching program I'm a part of. Knowing your 'why' is a game changer in your business. I love helping women business owners step into their knowledge and expertise to be seen as thought leaders in their space. As they go through this process they gain confidence and courage to take more risks and make a bigger impact. Why do you do what you do?

“Too many people burn out because they want to look successful versus be successful” ❤️ The workings of success start with the inner workings and aligning your business goals with your personal goals. As ‘The 12 Week Year’ by Brian P Morgan & Michael Lennington emphasizes, ‘Execution is the single greatest market differentiator. Great companies and successful individuals execute better than their competition.’ It’s not about being busy; it’s about being productive and focused. ‘The number one factor that will determine your success is not the external environment; it’s the internal one.’ Your personal goals have more emotion, and emotion moves the trigger to action. The book highlights the importance of having a clear vision: ‘A vision creates the emotional connection to a goal which motivates you to take action.’ By aligning your goals and focusing on what truly matters, you can achieve more in 12 weeks than others might in 12 months. It’s about creating lasting success, not just the appearance of it. ‘You don’t need more time; you just need to decide,’ is another powerful reminder from the book. Focus on what matters most and execute consistently.”

Or 🏹 Practice tuning inward. Listening and learning from the inside out. Discover our true thoughts and feelings and through the process consciously choose guiding principles that have us leap leap out of bed to live in service of them. + keeping an cetain “image” is stressful as you have to “remeber” the image projected and constantly check for reasurance …. I would say it is the same like lying. Interesting part of this is a wide belief (i.e. in coaching) that to become something, you have to truly belive it (both mind and soul). The main difference is by my opinion in the intention. Do I project such image because I want to impress (p*ss off …) somebody. Like the partner you want to pick up acting to what one thinks she/he could be attracted to … or projecting the image from within, believing in it and working your a*s off to get there. Careful what you think as thoughts become your words become (long story short) your destiny.

As a coach specialising in sustainable excellence and work/life cohesion I couldn’t agree with this more. “Too many people burn out because they want to look successful instead of being successful.” So how do you push society’s expectations aside and achieve authentic success?
