Receiving Inspection :- is a critical step in the Incoming Quality process. It's the initial evaluation of incoming materials, components, or products to ensure they meet specified requirements: 👇 Receiving Inspection Objectives 1. Verify supplier and product identity 2. Check for damage ,Dent and visual insp. 3. Ensure compliance with specification. 4. Detecting potential quality issues. Receiving Inspection Steps 👇 1. Verify Shipping Documents: - Check packing lists, invoices and Reports - Ensure accurate product description, quantity, and supplier info 2. Visual Examination: - Inspect for visible damage, labeling, and packaging issues - Check for signs of tampering or contamination 3. Product Identification: - Verify product name, part number, and revision level - Check for correct labeling and markings 4. Quantity Check: - Confirm received quantity shipping documents 5. Initial Quality Check: - Perform a brief quality inspection --Receiving Inspection Methods-- 👇 1. Visual Inspection: Visual examination without measurement tools 2. Dimensional Inspection: Measurement using calipers, micrometers, or gauges 3. Functional Inspection: Testing product functionality or performance 4. Sampling Inspection: Random sampling for further testing --Receiving Inspection Outcome-- 👇 1. Acceptance: Material meets specifications, proceed to storage or production 2. Rejection: Material fails inspection, notify supplier, and discuss corrective actions 3. Quarantine: Material requires further evaluation or testing before acceptance Remember ✍️ 1. Train personnel on receiving inspection procedures. 2. Use calibrated measurement tools. 3. Document inspection results. 4. Communicate effectively with suppliers. By conducting through receiving inspection, you ensure the quality of incoming material, reduce the risk of defects, and maintain a smooth + production process.

💯 % quality inspector (checker's) number/identification stickers is the more effective to track the weak checker along with defective pcs to ensure the right product quality. It also helps to evaluate checker's validation. It's not only for the product, this way can also be used in blisters/ ratio pack and cartoning to track when found any packing error or compliance issue. So that responsible checker/ratio maker will be determined to do his/her job carefully.
