Here's a snapshot: 🏭 Bas Dubois highlighted challenges manufacturers face with over a year delivery times amidst a global competitive market. 🎛 Dirk Jan Brakel emphasized system integration's importance in understanding public transport as a complex technical ecosystem. 🚒 Claudius Jehle shared decades of expertise in battery behavior for predictive health condition determination, ensuring safety. Pleased to share the energy system perspective, discussing the necessity of a reliable domestic energy system in the wake of gas and oil crises. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), in partnership with U.S. Department of Transportation, US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, is developing a Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicle Decarbonization Action Plan as a supplement to the U.S. National Blueprint for #Transportation Decarbonization. The plan will include pathways to decarbonizing vehicles, adopting new fuels, establishing refueling infrastructure networks, strengthening the workforce, and deepening partnerships and strategic planning. This workshop hosted by NREL will gather critical stakeholder feedback to build out the proposed pathways for decarbonization.
