Earlier this week, Angelia Wesch presented a CLE webinar for the King County Bar Association’s Litigation Section, where she discussed insurance tenders of defense and indemnity – important information for any litigator. She delved into how tendering claims and lawsuits triggers important common law and statutory duties of insurers under Washington Law, including the Duty to Defend and the Duty to Indemnify, and how failing to timely respond can lead to extra contractual causes of action against insurers. For more information on this topic or any other insurance-related issues, please reach out to Angelia directly at [email protected]. #insurancelaw #constructioninsurance #insurancelitigation #constructionindustry #smithcurrieoles
