The model for management that we have right now is the opera. The conductor of an opera has a very large number of different groups that he has to pull together. The soloists, the chorus, the ballet, the orchestra, all have to come together — but they have a common score. What we are increasingly talking about today are diversified groups that have to write the score while they perform. What you need now is a good jazz group! -Peter Drucker-

A message for Champions I recently had the opportunity to catch a symphonic interpretation of music by the late Freddie Mercury and the band Queen. The concert, held at Tirana’s National Theater of Opera and Ballet was a collaboration between Albanian and Italian talents. The #TKOB is one of the city’s jewels. The conductor, orchestra, vocals, and lead vocalist were fired-up and did justice to the band’s music— ensuring an uplifting experience! I thought the timeless hit, “We are the champions” was a particularly rousing and much needed affirmation to stay on the good foot. I’ve long believed that #consciouscontentcreators are supersheroes/heroes of the world. Now, as ever, with all that is going on in the world, around the world and to the world, it is imperative that our voices come to the fore to be warriors for accurate narratives and representations. It’s a challenge the whole human-race must take-on, but we must be #consciousleaders who stand strong and use our #knowledge, #skills and #talents to combat #misinformation and #disinformation. We must keep the “inform” in information and teach others how to do the same. It won’t always be a bed of roses (I know I’ve felt some thorns), or a pleasure cruise (I’ve been tripped-up too), but we must go on fighting my friends. We can’t make time for losers. Another example of disinformation campaign by Azerbaijan which is part of their larger information war against Armenians! ++++++++++++++++++ The #Aliyev regime’s ambitions toward the Republic of #Armenia continue to grow, extending beyond territorial claims to include cultural and musical propaganda. Recently, #Azerbaijan presented the so-called “anthem” of the fictional “Turkish Republic of Irevan,” which calls for the “liberation of Yerevan from foreign hands.” Composed by Azerbaijani people’s artist Javanshir Guliyev, who is known for his close ties to President Ilham Aliyev, the anthem was commissioned in 2021. The unveiling took place at the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, a building originally designed by Armenian architect Nikolai Bayev. The “Geghard” Scientific-Analytical Foundation condemns this latest act of provocation, deeming the dissemination of an anthem targeting the capital of an internationally recognized state unacceptable.
