NAIDOC Week is a time to celebrate and recognise the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Woolworths Group is committed to making a positive impact on First Nations Communities. This week with our amazing team members we are putting together Happy Boxes, filled with essentials to support First Nations women in remote communities.

Store Manager (secondment) at Woolworths Supermarkets

A fantastic initiative Woolworths Supermarkets supports the Happy Boxes project which aims to spread kindness to women in the most remote and isolated communities of Australia. It aims to empower Indigenous women by alleviating the barriers to access basic toiletry and hygiene products. The team and I enjoyed having discussions around the products we could donate. We enjoyed putting them together and look forward to sending them to their destination. Lachlan Holling
