13 June 2024 We can plan... We #planned to brisk walk regularly again, and planned to restart at Tasik Ampang Hilir Park this morning after sending Raihanah to the station. Hanafy drove on MRR2 to get to the park. I, as the co-driver, was enjoying the sights when lo and behold, we found ourselves here at TGSK Kuala Lumpur! Well, since we were there, and we could find a spot to park the car, we might as well walk in and have breakfast. Surely, this is a #sign that we were not meant to restart our brisk walks just yet. For we can only plan so much, yet what the Master Planner says will be, will be and so it be. You can see I was all ready to brisk walk, kan?😉 This place, according to Hanafy went viral on #tiktok. My honest review? All GOOD! Food. Vibe and ambience of the place. System of assigning tables to patrons (at entrance). And food ordering system. Definitely deserving another visit. That aside, how often have we found ourselves #planning for an activity...whether in our minds or shared with someone, sometimes spending a lot of time preparing for it, only to find that things don't work out as we planned? Well, I learnt a long time ago that while it is good to have a plan, it is equally good to take things as they come. Less #stress. I'm actually mentally on the long weekend break already...hahaha. Got a few small work errands to complete today before I start packing. I pray you too will have a beautiful day today and on the days to come. Remember, strike a #lifeworkbalance every day. ℂ𝕠𝕞𝕡𝕝𝕖𝕥𝕖𝕕 ℂ𝕠𝕠𝕣𝕕𝕚𝕟𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕠𝕗 𝟠 𝕍𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕘𝕖 𝔾𝕣𝕠𝕦𝕡 𝕄𝕖𝕖𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤 𝕚𝕟 𝟞 𝕐𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕤 Earlier this week, I’ve just completed the coordination of my 8th Vistage Group Member Meeting. 8 meetings in 6 years hosted by my 2 Executives respectively at our different offices including our Subang Headquarter, Jakarta Headquarter, Puchong Headquarter, Penang Branch Office, Puchong Branch Office and virtually. Vistage, an Executive Coaching Organization has peer advisory group meetings monthly rotation of host by respective members and chaired by respective Vistage Chair. The best compliment received is that my arrangements have set a standard! What are the key I think is important for a 1-day meeting event coordination? 1. 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 · Go through all the details starting from preparation stage for all arrangements including agenda confirmation, venue, menu selection, sharing details of the plan with internal and external parties. 2. 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞 · Rehearsal. Going through the details of the agenda and imagining the flow and potential issues which may arise. You will be very familiar with the flow and be prepared to manage any hiccups which occur. 3. 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 · Schedule to arrive early to ensure that the setups are according to plan and adjusted based on the needs on the event day. · Schedule ample time to troubleshoot on any matters which potentially arise during the day. 4. 𝐀𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐞 · Be ready to solve any issues raised by participants, internal and external team. 5. 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 · Everyone wants to give their best for you during events. But things do happen. As the key coordinator, it’s important to give comfort to your support team. Give assurance that small hiccups are understandable and come in the picture to suggest a quick fix. Thankful as always for all the superb support granted from internal colleagues and external suppliers. I would not be able to receive compliments without their strong support. #ea #executiveassistant #eventmanagement #gratitute #appreciation #achievement

Reflecting on My Journey as Project Manager for Paragon Jakarta’s Independence Day Celebration! 🇮🇩 From July 23 to August 16, 2024, I had the chance to step up as the Project Manager for our "Road to 17 Agustus: Parachampions" event at the office. Leading a team that included colleagues who were much more experienced than me was pretty nerve-wracking at first. But I quickly learned that with clear communication and a shared goal, everything became smoother and more collaborative. One of the toughest challenges was creating competitions that would be fun and exciting for everyone. It took a lot of creativity, but we also needed to understand what would engage our employees, considering they work in different roles, locations, and are from different generations. Another hurdle was scheduling the events outside regular office hours, especially since many of our employees work in the field. Despite this, their enthusiasm blew me away—some even traveled from their work sites just to participate! I worked on regularly sharing content to keep everyone on track and motivated, and we made sure to offer prizes that would keep the excitement going. One of the event highlights was our Culinary Festival, where we invited local food vendors (UMKM) to the office. Besides giving employees a chance to enjoy their favorite snacks, it was also a great way to help the vendors—some of them even mentioned that it really made a difference for them that day. It felt amazing to see everyone come together, enjoy the activities, and support the community at the same time. This experience has taught me so much about leadership, creativity, and how to engage employees in a meaningful way. I’m really grateful for the chance to bring joy to our workplace. A big thank you to my mentor Kak Talitha for trusting me to lead this event, and to Mas Imannur Ilmi Rais Akbar, Mas Ilham Harits, the admin team, and all my fellow interns Dinara Tsabita, Azizah Salsabila, Andini Rizkyka, Raisa Kendria Smara Karimah, Sabrina . and Najwa Naila Syahla for helping out despite everyone’s busy schedules. I couldn’t have done it without you all! 🤩 #ProjectManagement #EmployeeEngagement #HR

Real Estate Negotiator at IQI | Specializing in New Projects | Helping Clients Find Their Perfect Property Across Malaysia | Postgraduate Student in Built Environment Studies
I still remember the last time I took the bus from Kuala Lumpur to Penang. As we cruised along the highway, I overheard the bus driver having a conversation with one of the passengers. What started as casual chat turned into one of the most eye-opening lessons about work and life I’ve ever heard. The driver said, "Whatever job you're in right now, every job has its challenges. No job is easy in this world. If you think being a cleaner is easy, try it for one day. If you think being an office worker is easy, try to be one. Being a bus driver isn't easy either. Trips back to back are tough. As a real estate negotiator, I’ve come to appreciate how true these words are. While the role may seem straightforward from the outside, it’s much more than just showing properties. Every day brings new challenges like understanding client needs, negotiating deals, managing expectations, and making sure that every detail is handled with care. It’s not always easy, but the discipline, respect, and work ethic the bus driver spoke of are what keep us moving forward. Who would have thought that such a simple exchange on a bus could teach me so much about work and life? Lessons often come from the most unexpected people or places, it’s the quiet conversations that leave the biggest impact. p/s: I listened to their conversation while taking in the breathtaking view outside, and now, looking back, it feels even more meaningful. ♥️ Let me know your thoughts! #WorkEthic #LifeLessons #Respect #Discipline #Leadership #RealEstate #WorkChallenges

I'm Martin, from Kuala Lumpur. I've been using the Wang Qirui Back Wand Massager and their massage chair for months now. It's a game-changer. My back pain? Gone. Stress? Reduced drastically. The Back Wand Massager is portable and powerful. It fits perfectly in my hands. The varying intensity levels let me target knots easily after long days at work. Love the heat function; it soothes muscles instantly. Their massage chair is another level. It fits snugly in my living room. The zero-gravity feature is amazing—feels like floating. Customizable massage programs? Yes! From neck to feet, every zone gets attention. The foot rollers are particularly great after running marathons. Wang Qirui’s customer service is top-notch. They guided me through setup and maintenance. Regular check-ins show they care about user experience. If you're in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, or Johor Bahru, try them out. You won't regret it. It’s not just equipment—it’s an investment in your well-being.
