This is the second in a series of posts where I look at the states that were won by Donald Trump in 2016 but then flipped away from him in 2020. It examines some of the factors that made these states go from red to blue, compares the 2020 presidential contest alongside other recent elections (with some caveats), and discusses what could happen in 2024. The first post looked at Arizona. Today looks at Georgia. From 1996 to 2016, the state went to the Republican presidential candidate, most of the time definitively so. But Joe Biden broke that streak, defeating Trump by less than 12,000 votes in the state. Will Trump be able to take the state back in 2024? What do other elections in the state have to say about the partisan leanings of Georgia? I discuss this and more in today's post. And if you enjoy the article, please share with your network. #politics #2024elections #presidentialelection #georgia #politicalscience #politicalcampaigns #politicalanalysis #politicalinsights

Democrats want Michelle Obama, not Joe Biden As the United States gears up for the presidential election scheduled for November this year, a recent poll has sparked considerable interest among political circles and the public. The poll, conducted by Rasmussen Reports, reveals a surprising shift in popularity within the Democratic Party, placing former First Lady Michelle Obama ahead of incumbent President Joe Biden. #JoeBiden #presidentialelection #MichelleObama #UnitedStates #poll #RasmussenReports #America #BreakingNews #CurrentAffairs #WorldNews #TopStories #Headlines #NewsUpdate #GlobalEvents #HotTopics #LatestNews #IntheNews #TrendingNow #LiveUpdates #DailyNews #NewsAlert #WorldAffairs #NewsFlash #MustRead #PressRelease #FrontPage #MediaWatch Read More : https://lnkd.in/gvqdiTkH

Voting is one of the most powerful ways to make your voice heard, regardless of your political affiliation. It’s often referred to as “your civic duty,” but it’s so much more than that. Consider this: In the 2000 election, the outcome was so close that an automatic recount was required in Florida. George W. Bush won by just 0.0009%, securing the Electoral College and the presidency. In 2020, President Biden won Georgia by 11,799 votes. Every vote counts in shaping the direction of our country. So, exercise your right and make a difference. Your vote matters. #Vote #MakeADifference #YourVoiceMatters

That is the plan.
By defeating Trump for a second consecutive presidential election, we have a chance to finally put an end to this dangerous threat to our Democracy. The MAGA movement may live on without him, but they will be much less powerful without their cult leader directing them as a president or presidential candidate. But first, we have work to do - make sure you are registered to vote here: www.IwillVote.com #VoteHarrisWalz2024

I've given it a lot of thought, and here's my conclusion: There were 4 types of people who voted for Donald Trump in 2016: 1.) Folks who are Republicans and would never vote for a Democrat. 2.) Folks who would never vote for a woman. 3.) Folks who just wouldn’t vote for Hillary Clinton. 4.) Folks who believed Trump would be a good President. - I can respect the folks in #1. - I can tolerate the folks in #2. - I can understand the folks in #3. - I am absolutely flabbergasted by the folks in #4.

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump dominated Super Tuesday’s primary contests from coast to coast, each winning hundreds of delegates and moving much closer to clinching their respective parties’ nominations. Biden walked away from the night with at least 1,424 delegates, slightly more than 72% of the total he needs to secure the Democratic nomination. Trump ended the day with a minimum of 946 delegates, or 78% of the 1,215 total he requires in order to formally become the Republican party’s presumptive nominee. #shivamdwivedi #vyaparikh #globaleconomy #globalbusiness #stockmarketinvesting #stockmarketnews #stockmarketindia
